Violinist Wilkie Yeung holds a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Windsor, Ontario.  In addition, he was issued his teaching license from the Ontario College of Teachers upon graduation from his professional studies.  The Ontario Certificate of Teaching (O.C.T.) qualifies Mr. Yeung to teach in the public and catholic school systems in Ontario at the intermediate/senior divisions.  Mr. Yeung is a trained and registered teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music and has instructed at Maclachlan College; the leading private college in Oakville, Ontario.  Mr. Yeung has studied violin under the direction of Concert Master Lillian Sheirich of the Windsor Symphony and with Musical Director Mr. Pierre Gagnon of the Oakville Suzuki Association.  Mr. Yeung has also furthered his academic endeavors  and received an Accredited Jewelry Professional diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.).  Mr. Yeung is the owner and administrative director of Breath Of Music.

  In conjunction with his academic work, Mr. Yeung has played with the Windsor University orchestra for 5 years and performed in a stage production in Chatham, Ontario as a violin soloist.  Mr. Yeung has performed in numerous University recitals and has been awarded first place certificates and scholarships from multiple Kiwanis Festival violin competitions.

  Mr. Yeung believes that education is not a privilege, but a right.  He also believes in the importance of education and in the hope that educators can positively change society by positively nurturing those who live and grow within it.
